Whittlesea Council, of which Epping is a part, will acknowledge the successes and accomplishments of its local heroes with an award ceremony at the annual Australia Day celebrations in January.
A live concert will continue throughout the evening and dancing and merriment will be encouraged.
Attendees will be offered a free Australian flag and temporary tattoo on entry, and entertainment will be provided with activities available for all the family. The night will close with fireworks for everyone to enjoy. Activities for children include a petting zoo and a craft tent. Free sausages will be offered during the evening, and food and drink stalls will be strategically placed for easy access if further sustenance is required.
Melbourne band Brand New Bag will open the evening’s music concert with their soul-funk style. Following the performance, The Band Who Knew Too Much, also a popular local band, will round out the evening’s musical entertainment.
Flyer printing and Signs are likely to be used to promote the event. Bands may have Promotional Products available for purchase too.
The concert and awards will be presented on Australia Day, January 26, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm on the Terrace Lawns at the Whittlesea Council offices. The address is 25 Ferres Boulevard at South Morang. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
