Aurora to welcome new townhouse development

The Aurora residential community in Epping is set to receive a boost this year when work starts on a new townhouse development.

The Aurora master plan, which was prepared by Development Victoria, already boasts a 7,000-strong population.

There are various secondary and primary schools, childcare and community centres plus other facilities along with an abundance of green open spaces and parks, ovals, sporting courts, exercise stations and playgrounds.

Edgars Creek provides a natural perimeter, which provides a beautiful setting for the bicycle and walking trails, all within easy walking distance of residents.

The Aurora Town Centre development is being overseen by Development Victoria, which is not only attracting investment into the area, but also managing planning approvals as well as overseeing some of the construction being undertaken.

As part of the first stage, the Aurora Town Centre now offers car parking, medical facilities, community venues, specialty retail outlets and major supermarkets. Several kindergarten rooms, a child and maternal health centre and a community hall are also operating at Aurora as part of the Galada Community Centre. Flyer printing has often assisted in generating business for new centres such as this.

Aurora has also led the way by introducing initiatives to lower greenhouse emissions, maximise sustainability and to safeguard the environment.

Greater commercial and retail facilities are planned to be introduced during the next five years as part of further expansion works at the Aurora Town Centre.
