Essential stores remain open for Broadmeadows residents

Residents of Broadmeadows will not go without necessary services during the current Victorian lockdown, with Broadmeadows Central ensuring essential stores and services stay open for residents.

The store management is focused on ensuring customers remain safe and healthy while accessing stores and services. A number of measures have been put in place for customers needing to visit the centre.

All shops and food outlets are following the advice of the Victorian Government in relation to COVID-safe regulations and are asking all visitors to adhere to safety measures while within the centre.

Strategies including social distancing, hand sanitization stations and increased cleaning in high traffic areas will all assist in keeping shoppers safe. All children’s areas have also been temporarily closed.

Management is asking for shoppers to plan their visit in advance and to know which entrance is the closest to their required store. Customers are also requested to ensure social distancing is adhered to and that masks are worn. Shoppers are asked to stay home if they feel at unwell.

Shops that will remain open include supermarkets and other food outlets, newsagents, banks and medical services including pharmacies, and optometrists as well as Australia Post for all services including printing services. Take away food and home delivery are also available from many of the cafes and restaurants in the centre.

For more information about which stores are open and specific opening hours for businesses within the centre, shoppers can either call the store directly or visit the centre website.
