Chance for female entrepreneurs to mingle in Hume

Businesswomen in Broadmeadows have the chance to share knowledge and get inspiration from others at an annual lunch event next month.

The Women in Front lunch is being held as part of Business Victoria’s Small Business Festival, and is a great opportunity for local entrepreneurs to get together. The popular event is the only one of its type held in the area, and attracts more than 100 people.

Professional business card printing is a must for these kinds of events, which provide ample networking opportunities and the chance to develop professional relationships.

The guest speaker at this year’s lunch will be Franziska Iseli-Hall, a marketing expert and co-founder of Basic Bananas, a company that focuses on helping small businesses develop better strategies.

She will discuss how to improve marketing campaigns and bring the human touch to advertising, as well as how to increase growth.

Ticket prices include a two course lunch and drinks, and a goodie bag with promotional items from local businesses.

The lunch takes place on Friday August 1st from midday to 2.30pm at the Meadowbank reception venue in Campbellfield.

Anyone wanting to attend must book a place by Monday, July 28th. Places can be booked online via the Hume City Council website, or by contacting the council. Businesses who would like their products included in the goodie bag should also contact the council to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
