Broadmeadows to host workshop for small business owners
StartNorth is hosting an event specifically tailored for business owners in Broadmeadows in April.
The workshop, “Finance fundamentals: How to keep cash flowing”, is a practical seminar that aims to provide business owners with the knowledge and skills to identify what drives their cash flow and where they should invest money into their business.
Fundamentals such as marketing, profit and cash differences and the impact of working capital on their business are topics that will be covered during the workshop. Attendees will learn how to produce a cash flow forecast, manage debtors and suppliers and keep track of stock.
The workshop aims to help business owners spend less time juggling cash and paying bills and more time making profit and projections to prevent future challenges.
Presented by a financial expert, the practical techniques and tips taught are able to be applied immediately by business owners. Participants will also receive a follow-up personal mentor session with an experienced financial expert who specialises in small business.
