Fans of mixed drinks from Broadmeadows looking for an evening out in May won’t want to miss an upcoming event called “Bottomless Cocktails” taking place at Top Yard Rooftop. A bar located in the heart of Melbourne’s Central Business District, its distinctive black and white logo design features artfully stacked letters.
The upcoming event invites partygoers from in and around the city to enjoy two hours of perfectly mixed and unlimited cocktails from a select menu. Cocktails included in the ticket price for the evening include Illusions, Tequila Stride, Blue Lagoon and Fruit Tingle, providing patrons with plenty of choice.
Many believe that the name “cocktail” comes from New Orleans, where drinks creator called Peychaud would serve a mixed drink involving brandy from a French egg cup known as a 'coquetier. ' Over the years, those who appreciated his blended beverage westernised its pronunciation creating the word 'cocktail'.
Off-menu cocktails and food can also be ordered at this event but are not included in the price of admission. Those seeking to attend are advised that tickets can only be purchased online.
