Anyone thinking about heading off on a skiing or snowboarding holiday may find plenty of inspiration at the Snow Travel Expo next
month.
The Expo will see more than 50 resorts along with 25 specialist tour operators and equipment sellers on hand to help people keen to book their next holiday in the snow. As well as destinations from around Australia, a number of international resorts will also be represented, including places in Japan, Canada, Europe, and South America.
Attendees from Abbotsford will be spoilt for choice and might like to take advantage of catalogue printing, which will allow them to take home information about the different resorts, no doubt full of enticing pictures. Visitors will be able to get special deals and stand to win an overseas holiday.
The event will also feature a number of activities and presentations from industry experts. Professional skiers and snowboarders will be demonstrating their skills on the rails, while children can get a taste of snowboarding in the specially designed training area. Visitors can also have their photograph taken with Siberian Huskies, while those in the market for new skiing gear will enjoy the fashion displays showcasing the latest designs.
The Expo takes place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday 18th May. Doors are open from 10am to 4pm, and visitors are asked to donate to Disabled Wintersport Australia on entry.
