The Abbotsford area can enjoy a family day of open-air live music at the park in March, organised by the folks at the Lulie Tavern and supported by funds from the Council’s annual grants program.
Luliepalooza is the affectionate name given to the popular day party, now in its fifth year. Luliepalooza takes place at Victoria Park and is a joyful celebration of art and live music. To add to the sense of community, food and drink will be available to purchase, with local favourite brands such as Dingo Ate My Taco having a presence. There will also be two stages in action, plus a mechanical bull, showbags and skate demonstrations.
The current lineup, consisting of at least twelve bands, includes singers and groups such as Grace Cummings, Private Function (playing their last ever show) and Big Noter.
To make the event as user-friendly as possible, there will be a drop-off and pick-up area, an elevated viewing platform, accessible bathrooms and a low sensory space, plus plenty of manageable parking.
Festival-type events often rely on local printing services in order to produce colourful advertising that can be displayed in the community.
Luliepalooza is taking place on Saturday 21st March, at 11.30am, at Victoria Park in Abbotsford. Tickets cost from $105.10, with cheaper prices for children.
