Those who like an immersive music experience might like to attend a concert in Abbotsford in the genre of folk/atmospheric rock and indietronica.
For one day only, Dustin Tebbutt from New South Wales will be playing two immersive concerts where all audience members will listen through a pair of wired headphones as he plays live. With the room in darkness and no distractions, bar noise or chatter, the audience will hear the music as it sounds on stage. He will be performing from his latest album, A Bend in the Light, plus other selected works. Tebbutt has described the experience as a live listening library with each listener having an intimate connection to himself, the performer.
Tebbutt started recording music in 2013, and has now released several EPs and his album, First Light, charted in 2016. He has an international fan base, and his work has been streamed more than 500 million times. He has also received five ARIA certifications.
