Abbotsford ladies who make a living by painting and decorating, or other affiliated trades, can join a free pre-Christmas celebratory event this year.
Beyond the Brush is an initiative that provides women working in the trades industry a useful space in which to connect with others, forge relationships and offer support.
Beyond the Brush has created a Friendsmas event, where those attending can have the opportunity to network in a festive catchup.
There will be drinks and refreshments available, and attendees are invited to bring a friend to this special event. Those coming along for the first time will be especially welcome.
The guest speaker will be Melanie Caple, who is a curator, contemporary artist and muralist. She has a special art connection to Resene HQ, as it was Caple who created the mural there. She tends to design and create large works and therefore has much experience in creative projects across all kinds of public art.
Local printing services are often used to reproduce the work of artists to adorn Posters and Banners, with their permission.
Resene Paint Beyond the Brush will be taking place on Saturday, 7 November, from 2 pm until 4 pm. The venue is Resene Abbotsford ColorShop, 376 Johnston Street, Abbotsford. The event is free, but it is necessary to reserve a place.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Posters
