Music fans in the Abbotsford will be pleased to discover that a music trivia quiz has been scheduled for the city, where they can show off their knowledge of all things Eurovision.
The Grand Final Eurovision 2024 is taking place this year in Malmö, Sweden on 11 May. Each year, the host country is generally the country that won the previous year, and last year’s winner was Loreen, with her song Tattoo.
Australia joined Eurovision in 2015 as a guest participant to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the competition, and has been a contender ever since.
Eurovision is a popular event in the musical calendar and attracts many fans. Frock Nelson will host Thorne Harbour Health’s Eurovision Trivia Night, with the venue to be styled with a Eurovision flavour. Often, local Print shops will be utilised to produce promotional materials for events like this.
The quiz will include questions on Eurovision throughout the years, such as iconic songs and outfits, its history and memorable events. Between rounds, DJ Gavin Campbell will “spin the decks” for dancing and sing-alongs.
Bonus rounds will include best fancy dress and a lip sync competition. There will be prizes for winners and runners-up.
