Not-for-profit organisations in Clifton Hill can now apply to get funding from the Yarra City Council to help them keep their programmes running or develop new initiatives.
The Council’s Annual Grants are now open for applications, which can be made by any group within the city boundaries.
Awards are made in several areas, including community development, family, youth and children, and the environment, especially if the projects promote culture and community involvement.
This year, a Youth-Led category has been included for the first time, with up to $3,000 be made available to a youngster or group of young people who want to plan and lead their own event or scheme.
Some of these organisations could use some of the money to engage a printing company to create leaflets promoting their project, or Posters advertising an event.
More than $820,000 has been allocated for the latest round of grants, which will be shared between suitable applications with projects taking place in 2016.
Last year, awards were made to a diverse range of organisations, including support groups for local migrant communities, schools and kindergartens, an non-profit helping women with post-natal depression, and community food gardens.
Applications close on Monday July 27th. More details about the submission process and application Forms can be found on the Annual Grants page on the Yarra City Council website.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Posters
