Fletcher Pilon to perform at Some Velvet Morning

Young, up-and-coming singer-songwriter, Fletcher Pilon will be performing at Some Velvet Morning following the release of his EP ‘Thoughts’.

Some Velvet Morning is an intimate live music venue in the Melbourne suburb of Clifton Hill, opening at 4pm on Tuesday to Friday and 3pm at weekends. It serves Greek food and has live music most nights. Music venues often use poster printing to create interest and attract the attention of the public.

At just 18 years old, Pilon, from the New South Wales central coast, has already tasted success in the music industry, appearing on The Voice Kids, and taking first place on Australia’s Got Talent in 2016. He has recently spent time in America, visiting Nashville and Los Angeles. His musical influences include Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys and Jeff Buckley.

His first single ‘Paperback’ has been played on Triple J Unearthed. Pilon’s authentic sound is described as ‘that of a much older soul’ and his songs are said to "come from a place of deep thought with a pure message". He is now performing with a new band and the sound has developed from a folksy feel to include heavy guitar licks.

Pilon will be performing at Some Velvet Morning, which is at 123 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill on Friday 3rd May from 7pm. Tickets can be purchased online.
