Women to be celebrated near Salisbury South

Residents of Salisbury South and surrounding areas can come together to celebrate the power and resilience of women in early March.

Lauren and Hayley from the Adeladys will be the hosts for the International Women’s Day Celebration, and will be considering women from the past, present and future in the spheres of empowerment, resilience and equality.

Jodie Oddy will make a guest appearance. She is a journalist, radio host and emcee, and has used her position to help empower and mentor women, while juggling work and motherhood. She has become a successful and recognisable personality in South Australia. She is also an ambassador for several charities, including The McGrath Foundation and The Childhood Cancer Association.

With her passion and honesty, Oddy will be talking about the challenges of her life as a working mother of four daughters, during an evening that promises the audience a night of connection, celebration and conversation.

Community spaces can often make use of local printing services in order to produce adverting materials for upcoming events like this one.

This International Women’s Day Celebration will be taking place on Wednesday, 4 March, from 6 pm until 9.15 pm, at the Salisbury Community Hub on 34 Church Street, Salisbury. The cost of a ticket is $40, which will include a drink, canapes, entertainment and a door prize.
