Solo acoustic musician to play near Salisbury South

Live music fans in the area of Salisbury South can soon enjoy a set from an accomplished solo guitarist.

Ellen Tefanis was raised in Port Pirie, a small South Australian town, and showed an interest in music when she picked up a guitar at only 8 years old. Now known as a contemporary country musician and a songwriter in her own right, she is no stranger to the vibrant music scene of Adelaide. She has performed at many venues and corporate events, as well as at community festivals and private functions such as weddings. Her repertoire is vast and includes popular songs of the day, rock, alternative rock, country and party anthems.

She is particularly skilled at getting the audience to sing along and reportedly has an endearing and comfortable stage presence. She has also performed with Keith Urban.

At the Para Hills Community Club, Tefanis will be employing her hallmark charm to encourage the audience to sing along to songs from the 1950s, right through to the present day. The playlist might include crowd-pleasers such as Brown-Eyed Girl and Proud Mary.

Venues such as community centres often employ local printing services in order to produce advertising that can be displayed within the community.

Ellen Tefanis will be appearing at the Para Hills Community Club in Para Hills West on 15 November at 4 pm until 7 pm. Admission is free.
