Truck enthusiasts can climb aboard and explore an array of large vehicles at a free, hands-on event happening near Salisbury South soon.
As well as regular large vehicles, SES Rescue trucks will also be available to climb on, and SAPOL water operation jet skis can be investigated. There will be construction-themed activities, a jumping castle, rock climbing and games of Mario Kart on offer. Stalls selling food and drink will also be in attendance.
The Touch a Truck event is being run with a focus on community, so residents can view information and understand the progress regarding the $200 million redevelopment of Salisbury City Centre. The project aims to turn the city centre of Salisbury into one of the most vibrant centres in South Australia, and will include housing, car parking, retirement accommodation and hotels, along with retail and commercial spaces and green areas. The plan will encourage safe, active walking, along with integrated public transport and multi-cultural meeting spaces.
The organisers of informative community events often use the services of local Print shops in order to produce information boards and Posters for display.
Touch a Truck is a free event that is happening between 10 am and 3 pm this Saturday, 10 October at the Salisbury Civic Plaza, Church Street in Salisbury. All ages are welcome.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Posters
