Treehouse series author Andy Griffiths is bringing his Reading Is An Adventure tour to Salisbury. He is currently the Australian Children’s Laureate and will be sharing his humour, inventiveness and energy in a lively session with a chance for audience participation.
Griffiths is best known for the bestselling Treehouse series and has also launched a new series, Let’s Go. A long-time advocate for children’s literacy, he is known for writing Books that are playful, irreverent and full of energy, qualities that have helped make his work popular with young readers, including those who may be reluctant to pick up a book.

At the end of the session, Griffiths will stay around so that people can buy his books and get them signed. Colourful poster printing might be used to decorate a space where an author is speaking.
Reading Is An Adventure by Andy Griffiths, Australian Children’s Laureate 2026-2027, is taking place on 19 September, from 1 pm until 2 pm. The venue is the Salisbury Community Hub, 34 Church Street, Salisbury. The event is suitable for ages five-12, and an Auslan interpreter will be in attendance.Get a Free Quote for Books
