Upcoming workshops aimed at Salisbury South parents

A series of practical parenting workshops will be coming to Salisbury later this year to suit a wide range of different needs.

Entitled “Families Growing Together”, multiple free workshops presented by the Salisbury Community Hub will launch in March and run until early April, offering carers and parents some assistance. Organisations and institutions offering classes, courses, workshops, and other educational opportunities often use flyer printing services to create leaflets they can distribute in local hubs like libraries and community centres to attract attendance.

The Hub invites parents and carers from Salisbury South and other parts of the area to participate with no entry fees required. Delivered in an informal and relaxed style, the workshops provide attendees with practical information and equip them with strategies based on the most cutting-edge parenting research employing the Parenting SA Parent Easy Guides (PEGs) among other child orientated information.

The two-part workshop was created to explore effective strategies for carers and parents to support children by developing new attitudes and skills.

The Families Growing Together workshops will take place at the Salisbury Community Hub Library located at 34 Church Street in Salisbury from Thursday, March 30 to Thursday, April 6. The free workshops will start at 10 am and end at 1 pm.

Babies in arms are welcome and refreshments will be provided. However, booking is essential for these workshops.
