A special breakfast will be offered near Salisbury South to celebrate a national occasion.
Local festivities are set to take place at the Salisbury Civic Plaza and Salisbury Community Hub to honour Australia Day 2022. The special event will see those attending offered a free community-style breakfast, with the option of a hot egg and bacon roll or yoghurt and fresh fruit. The breakfast will be served from 8 am onwards, along with a wide range of free entertainment.
Cities across Australia celebrating national events like Australia Day can sometimes use banner printing services for eye-catching outdoor signage that welcomes members of the public taking part.
There will be plenty of activities for those of all ages, including novelty competitions like the popular Vegemite eating contest, live music acts and entertainment designed for kids, including games and face painting.
The itinerary for the event will see the flag-raising ceremony at Civic Plaza start at 8 am, followed by the Australia Day Awards at 8.30 am. The Citizenship Ceremony will then be held at 10 am on Level 1 of the Community Hub.
The Australia Day celebration breakfast will be held at the Salisbury Civic Plaza and Salisbury Community Hub on 34 Church Street on Wednesday, January 26, from 8 am. Pre-registration is required for the event to prevent risks from COVID-19.
