A community centre in Salisbury is holding a session teaching residents basic technology skills to help them get the most from IT devices and online resources.
Those in Salisbury South who find using technology tricky will find assistance at hand this spring, as November will see the Salisbury Community Hub Library host a session called “Basic Technology Support”.
The entirely free event involves a one-to-one learning opportunity with one of the library’s friendly volunteers, and all residents need to attend is to bring along their personal IT device.
Libraries and other civic hubs hosting classes and courses often reach out to high-quality brochure printing services to produce colourful Booklets that include FAQs and other information for interested candidates.
The session can help attendees create a brand-new email account, navigate search engines such as Google and download files to their desktop. It also instructs on how to use a variety of online government services like MyGov, Centrelink, Medicare and ATO, as well as EzyReg and Service SA. Those with iPhones and Android smartphones can also learn how to use Play Store and the App Store.
The Basic Technology Support sessions will run at the Salisbury Community Hub Library on Thursday, November 14. The library can be found at 34 Church Street in Salisbury, and the sessions will start at 11 am and run until 12 pm.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
