An acclaimed pianist will soon be performing sonatas from Mozart in Adelaide.
Those who appreciate classical music in Salisbury South and other suburbs will soon get their chance to attend a concert in Adelaide featuring the celebrated international pianist known professionally as YUNDI.
The upcoming live event is called “Yundi Li Plays Mozart - Sonatas Project” and is presented by Harmonie International. YUNDI’s meteoric journey to stardom began when he took home first prize age 18, after winning the XIV Chopin International Piano Competition. This made him the first ever Chinese pianist to secure victory at the event, and since then, YUNDI has toured the world, performing in some of the most famous venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Royal Festival Hall and Salle Pleyel in Paris.
