Salisbury South area to enjoy food festival

A cultural event celebrating the cuisine of Asia is coming to Salisbury this summer.

Residents of Salisbury South with a passion for food from other nations can enjoy an event happening in easy reach of the suburb. Summertime will see the Asia Oasis Street Food Festival set up camp by the River Torrens for three days of culinary wonders, entertainment and activities.

Promoters and sponsors at outdoor events often get in touch with premium banner printing services for hardwearing signage suited to outside use, featuring their name and logo.

Against the backdrop of the river, the event invites festivalgoers to sample over 20 carefully curated vendors, serving close to 200 Asian dishes prepared with care and passion.

A village of attractive Bali huts will line the banks of the river lit with lanterns, while markets sell cultural design work and gifts crafted by artisans. A range of performing arts are planned like the much-loved lion dance, and there will be cultural games and activities designed to appeal to all ages.

The Asia Oasis Street Food Festival will be at Pinky Flat in Salisbury from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1. The event will start at 11 am and end at 11 pm on all three days, and the venue is located opposite the Adelaide Oval at 25 Wiltshire Street in Salisbury.
