Salisbury Plays to visit St Kilda Adventure Playground

Salisbury Plays will take place at the St Kilda Adventure Playground in October.

Salisbury Plays is being held in partnership with Nature Play SA for four hours of nature-themed activities targeted towards kids and adults alike. Attractions will include kite making and flying, face painting, crafts using natural materials found around the St Kilda Adventure Playground and sport activities. It is free to partake in all activities.

Those wanting to use the day for some fitness can explore the flora and fauna of the playground with a walk along the St Kilda Mangrove Boardwalk. There is much more to this playground than the activities that will be offered on the day.

The playground went through a $3.5 million renewal three years ago and offers many activities such as a castle decked out with slides and a draw bridge, flying fox, several slides encompassing a volcano, swings, and a basketball court. The playground also offers barbeque facilities, toilets, a drinking fountain, plenty of space for picnics and parking. On the day, food and drink will be available for purchase.

Registration for the event is offered via Eventbrite and more information is available on the Discovery Salisbury Facebook page. To inform the local community of what else is on in the city of Salisbury and neighbouring suburbs such as Salisbury South, printing services can be used to create informative materials.

Salisbury Plays will be in St Kilda on October 13th from 11am to 3pm to help families explore the parks and reserves in the Salisbury community of Adelaide.
