An upcoming event at community centre in Salisbury has been designed for budding young chefs in the area.
Those in Salisbury South and other suburbs of the city with kids keen on cooking will not want to miss the upcoming event series entitled “The Junior Chefs Cooking Club”, which is inviting children aged between six and nine to attend, accompanied by their caregiver or parent.
The community activity is designed to promote foster care relationships and encourage healthier eating choices. Those taking part will get a chance to learn brand-new recipes and try different kinds of food while experiencing the fun of cooking.
Organisers of local events like this can sometimes enlist flyer printing services to create informative leaflets they can distribute in libraries and community centres to encourage attendance.
The Junior Chefs Cooking Club will take place on Thursday afternoons at the Salisbury Community Hub Library, 34 Church Street in Salisbury from February 17 to March 10, 2022. Tickets for the classes are priced at $15 per child.
Due to limited space, bookings are only possible for up to six children, and a commitment to attendance at all four weeks is recommended for attendees to get the most value from the programme. The sessions are COVID-safe events and require adult participation and supervision at all times. Sessions are also subject to South Australia health advice.
