Salisbury South’s female residents are invited to attend craft afternoons at their neighbouring suburb of Salisbury East in November as part of Crafty Manors, an endeavour supported by the City of Salisbury.
Crafty Manors provides an opportunity for ladies to meet others living within the City of Salisbury. During each craft session, they will be introduced to different craft activities via demonstrations by the facilitator, with craft items available for use. It is a great way for women to learn new skills or hone existing ones.
The venue for Crafty Manors is Aveo Manor Gardens Retirement Village, which is located on 12 Melville Road. It is located close to medical facilities, local shops, a Westfield shopping centre and a train station, making it easy to access with a variety of amenities.
The event itself will be held within the Activity Room. The entrance to the venue is directly across the oval on Melville Road. The visitor carpark is on the right-hand side, and after parking, it is recommended that attendees walk up the footpath and into the main building. Here, the retirement village staff will assist attendees in finding the Activity Room.
Such community events can benefit from promotional flyer printing, with Flyers placed on lamp posts, community halls, libraries and other public spaces to target a wide audience.
Crafty Manors is a free event held fortnightly on Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm. The next session will take place on October 22.
