Microsoft Office Bootcamp to take place in Salisbury South

Salisbury South will be hosting a Microsoft Office workshop in the new year to help attendees bolster their skills.

The Microsoft Office Bootcamp is supported by Microsoft, the Department for Industry and Skills, Prodigy Learning and the City of Salisbury. Typically, community-funded events are advertised via flyer printing and placed on community notice boards and within community hubs and libraries.

There are three Microsoft Office specialist certifications that will be covered during the bootcamp. Although not compulsory, it is highly recommended that participants complete all three. The training and assessments cost $30 and include course material and the first exam.

The bootcamp can be completed onsite at the Salisbury Community Hub near Salisbury South or online. All online training is delivered via pre-recorded videos that assess individual learning ability through knowledge checks and completion of projects. Whilst all training can be completed remotely, the final certification exam must be completed onsite.

For those completing the training online, access to a computer with a Windows operating system installed, a strong internet connection for video streaming, Microsoft Office 2016 and GMetrix installation will all be required.
