Goth rock headed for Salisbury music fans

A popular goth rock performer from America is undertaking an Australian tour, with concert dates planned in Adelaide along the way.

Gothic rocker Chelsea Wolfe will soon take to the stage in Hindmarsh, allowing her musical following in Salisbury South and other suburbs to appreciate her renowned sounds that blend rock, folk and doom metal. The upcoming concert is part of her brand-new tour of both Australia and New Zealand, promoted by Bird’s Robe.

Wolfe will perform sets accompanied by a four-piece band on the tour, and she will be introducing ticket buyers to her latest album entitled “Birth of Violence”, along with playing tracks from the recording including its opening song called “The Mother Road”. Bands and solo artists often employ professional Graphic Design Services to set artwork, imagery and typography for the studio albums they release.

Wolfe has not played in Australia since 2016 and has not toured the country since 2012, but the new album has already received critical acclaim from the Australian music press.

Chelsea Wolfe will perform live at the Gov, located at 59 Port Road in Hindmarsh, on Monday, June 13. The show will begin at 7.30 pm and end at 11 pm. Emma Ruth Rundle will be performing in support at the gig. The singer-songwriter shares the same recording label as Wolfe – Sargent House.
