An area near Salisbury South will soon present a day dedicated to running with a range of different events for athletes of all abilities to enter.
Salisbury South residents looking for fitness in autumn can compete in a major running event taking place in May. Simply titled Salisbury.RUN 2025, the footrace is designed to promote health and fitness in the region, and is inviting people of all running abilities to come down and participate.
The run is sponsored by Move OT, Pick a Local, Bickford's, Pick SA, the City of Salisbury and Intersport. Event organisers often reach out to banner printing services to create colourful signage that honours sponsors.
Designed to appeal to a wide range of runners, the day has multiple races suited to different running styles and skills. Entrants can select to run in the half marathon or choose between 10-kilometre, 5-kilometre and 2-kilometre distances. All events take place amid the attractive scenery of the City of Salisbury’s Carisbrooke Park. Runners can enjoy a mostly flat course with bubbling creeks and eucalyptus trees for shade.
Prizes will be awarded in the form of Intersport vouchers of different values, allowing winners to purchase Apparel and footwear in-store at local branches in Salisbury, Port Adelaide and Golden Grove.
