Family run coming to Salisbury South area

A local running event is set to take place in Salisbury this autumn designed for all members of the family to attend.

A popular local running festival is inviting members of the community from Sunday Salisbury South and other suburbs in the region to participate later this year. The event is entitled RUN on Sunday and will take place in Salisbury’s verdant Carisbrooke Park Reserve.

Organisers of marathons, sprints, relays, and other running events often reach out to professional banner printing services to produce large scale signage designed for use outdoors that can cope with a range of weather conditions.

Runners can enjoy a varied course featuring scenic tree-lined tracks, creek beds and trails. A wide range of running events will be happening on the day including a challenging half marathon (21.1 kilometres), a shorter 10-kilometre course as well as five and two kilometre runs.

Entrants can choose to run solo or enter representing their business, club, or school in the team challenge. Participating teams can include people of any gender however they must be composed of at least four team members competing in the same distance race.

The day is designed to embrace fitness, fun and family as well as foster a sense of community. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

Run on Sunday will now take place on May 5 at the Carisbrooke Park Reserve in Salisbury.
