Award-winning entrepreneurs to host advice workshop

A workshop is due to be held in Mawsons Lake, near Salisbury South next month offering tips and advice on entrepreneurship.

The event is called ‘Entrepreneur Magic - from the US to Adelaide and Back Again!’ and the two and a half hours session will be led by Matthew Michaalewicz and Vinh Giang. They will discuss their entrepreneurial journeys, giving tips regarding expansion in business, creativity, and success. The event is hosted by the Polaris Business & Innovation Centre and Renewal SA.

Matthew works as the Managing Director of Complexica, which provides software enabled via artificial intelligence to assist businesses in improving decision-making for their sales, marketing and supply chain functions. He received the 2018 Australian Innovation of the Year award and has featured in several magazines including Times Magazine, New York Times, Newsweek and Forbes.

Vinh is recognised internationally as a Keynote Speaker who gives encouraging speeches by providing metaphoric examples associated with magic. He started his journey in the Salisbury area, where he built his online business that is targeted towards an international student population. Vinh is the winner of the South Australian Young Entrepreneur Award in 2013.

Both speakers will talk about their business journeys, with a focus on challenges and achievements. The event will have an opportunity for networking. Business Cards are often exchanged at networking events.

The talk will be held within the Conference Centre at the Innovation House Technology Park from 5:30pm-8pm on April 27th. Ticket purchase is required and is $20 each.

It is advised to check whether the event will still be taking place.
