Residents of Salisbury South are invited to attend the 2021 Australia Day celebration.
On the day, attendees can enjoy a free bacon and egg roll, fruit and yoghurt from 8am. They can also participate in a variety of free activities, along with enjoying the entertainment on offer.
The animal farm, glitter tattoos, balloon artists, and badge making will appeal to children, whilst adults can enjoy live music from the Crosstown Ramblers, a meet and greet with Australian footballers Alipate Carlile and Darren Jarman, and a military and defence display. All attendees can benefit from mini golf, novelty giveaways and games, which will include a vegemite eating competition. Local businesses with stalls on the day can promote themselves via quality Logo Design to grab the attention of prospects.
Celebrations will begin at 8am with a Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by Australia Day Awards at 8:30am and a Citizenship Ceremony at 10am. The ceremony will be held on Level One inside the Community Hub.
Australia Day will be celebrated on Tuesday 26th January at the Salisbury Community Hub and Salisbury Civic Place located on 34 Church Street. The event will be held in accordance with the latest health advice provided by the state government and SA Health.
