Agricultural event returns to Salisbury South area

An annual festival focused on agriculture is making a welcome return to Adelaide later this year.

Among Australia’s biggest agricultural event, the Royal Adelaide Show is returning to the city for another year showcasing animals, plants and vegetables from around the area. Members of the community from Salisbury South and other suburbs are invited to descend on the festival’s familiar turf, the Adelaide Showground, to participate in the multi-day event.

Organisers of major city-wide events often enlist the expert help of professional poster printing services to create advertisements of all shapes and sizes to promote to the public. The show will feature competitions with a wide range of categories from pets and livestock animals to prize fruit, vegetables and other produce.

Live acts will be performing a wide range of different entertainment for those in attendance, and there will be an extensive array of exhibitors at the show ground ready to discuss their products and services while supplying samples. There will also be adult rides, workshops, a children’s area and carnivals, along with booths and kiosks selling ice creams, full meals, alcohol and soft drinks. Smaller fun competitions will also take place for arts, crafts and wood chopping to name but a few.

The Royal Adelaide Show will be held at the Adelaide Showground based in Goodwood Road, Wayville. The event starts on Saturday, September 3 and ends of Sunday, September 11.
