Ultimo locals are invited to attend the Australian Human Rights Awards, which will be coming to the suburb next month.
The awards are presented by the Australian Human Rights Commission and are a yearly celebration and recognition of achievements in human rights.
Together with representatives from the human rights, legal, humanitarian, government and community sectors, attendees can share and congratulate the significant achievements of organisations and individuals who are making invaluable efforts to promote and protect human rights in Australia.
The event will also include the yearly Human Rights Day oration.
20 finalists are set to be honoured across five categories, including the Human Rights Medal, the Young People’s Award, the Community Award, the Media and Creative Industries Award and the Law Award.
Guests will be able to mingle before and after the ceremony, with canapes and drinks available.
Organisers of awards celebrations can connect with Print shops to enhance their advertising. Professional printers can craft engaging, informative marketing that sends a message and attracts broader interest from the community.
The Australian Human Rights Awards will take place on Friday, 12 December. The venue will be the University of Technology Sydney Great Hall, which can be found at UTS Building 1, 1/15 Broadway in Ultimo. The event will also be broadcast nationally over Zoom. Tickets are priced from $40, and registrations can be made through the Humanitix website.Get a Free Quote for Print
