Ultimo locals can discover a brand-new passion at a drumming course coming to the suburb in February.
Organised by the City of Sydney Council, the event will be led by expert instructors from the Australian Taiko Academy.
Taiko is a full-body, expressive art form uniting movement, rhythm and culture.
It provides a creative outlet for self-expression, a fitness workout, and a powerful release of tension.
Attendees will feel focused and energised, and their stress will be reduced.
Over the nine-week course, attendees will learn all the basics of Taiko. They will be guided through beginner drumming techniques, expressive vocalisations, and body movement.
They’ll also be taught a short piece to perform with their classmates.
There is no prior drumming or musical experience required to participate.
Event organisers can connect with local Print shops to ensure their advertising exceeds expectations. Professional printers will work closely with their clients to create the highest-quality event promotions, designed to capture attention and boost attendance.
