Ultimo to enjoy indie pop
An American musical duo renowned for their immersive style of independent pop music will soon play live in concert in Ultimo.
Ultimo music fans with a passion for indie pop can soon enjoy an appearance from Slenderbodies. The Californian duo will be taking to the stage at the suburbs popular gig spot The Underground in February as part of their debut tour down under.
The band’s Australian odyssey is presented by Destroy All Lines in association with Yours & Owls and will see them bring their dreamy songbook to other venues too. Tour dates have been booked at Brisbane’s The Brightside and Melbourne’s Gold. Local venues like clubs and pubs sometimes reach out to flyer printing service that can design and print attractive adverts they can pass out to gain attention for gigs they host.
The Antipodean tour comes of the back of the musical pair releasing a brand-new album called “The Sugar Machine”. The sound of Slenderbodies has been likened to other alternative and indie bands like Glass animals, Eden and Hunny.
Slenderbodies will now play a live set at The Underground Sydney, on Saturday, February 1, accompanied by special guests. The show will start at 7 pm and standard admission is charged at $69.90 per person. A VIP upgrade is also available for $149.90. The venue is situated at 15 Broadway in Ultimo.
