Ultimo area to present telecoms course
A course designed for telecommunications installers will run near Ultimo later this year.
Telecoms professionals in Ultimo can update their skillset with a new learning opportunity taking place in the suburb this autumn. The two-day event entitled “ASHTAS Installer A&B Block Course Sydney” will be held in March and is ideal for installers leading crews or signing off on road safety barrier system installations.
Training companies sometimes rely on professional print shops to design and produce branded study materials that instructors can pass to people attending courses and classes.
Day one of the course features the Installer A workshop, while day two presents the Installer B modules titled “Terminals and Crash Cushions”, “Flexible” and “Semi-Rigid”. Learners must complete an evaluation at the end of every module to show their knowledge.
Those who complete the Installer A workshop successfully will receive an updated e-card and, after passing the Installer B test, will be awarded an e-logbook. This will let them record installation evidence to aid them in achieving installer status.
To attend the course, candidates must have completed their operative training.
