New Berlin to host Touch a Truck event

The New Berlin Recreational Department will, once again, be making its “Touch A Truck” event available to the general public.

The event will allow young children and their families the opportunity to explore the various trucks that help the New Berlin community stay running.

This event – hosted by the New Berlin Recreational Department – will feature trucks from across municipal government, including construction equipment, fire trucks, and ambulances. While there, kids and their families will have the opportunity to learn more about what each truck does, how it enriches the community as a whole, and how they can learn more about the various professions that keep New Berlin moving. Accompanying personnel will be on hand to answer questions and help guide guests about the various facets of the trucks that they will explore.

This event is being held in the parking lot of the New Berlin Children Hospital at 4855 S Moorland Road. While at the event, parents and their kids will have a chance to check out some of the various medical and community operations offered by the facility, as well as pick up Promotional Products related to the various services that they offer.

The event is being held on Saturday, May 18 and will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. It is free to attend and no registration is required.
