This will all in preparation for the city's renowned Fourth of July Festival. The city will begin hosting a number of initiatives, events, and programs in January 2026 that will bring locals of all ages together for a historic milestone.
New Berlin Recreation Department, The New Berlin Public Library, New Berlin Historical Society, New Berlin School District, New Berlin Landmarks Commission, as well as the New Berlin Veterans Memorial Society have come together to make these community events possible. In order to recognize America's 250 years of freedom and showcase the rich history of New Berlin, these groups will collaborate to provide educational programs, family-focused events, cultural opportunities, and patriotic pastimes.
Katie Roth, the Recreation Manager stated:
“New Berlin is known for its strong sense of community. This celebration is not only about honoring our nation’s past—it’s about bringing our residents together and creating meaningful memories for future generations.”
Participation, sponsorship, and support for this historic project are encouraged from organizations, volunteers, companies, and members of the community. Businesses supporting events are likely to advertise themselves with things such as Promotional Products.
The events that community members can look forward to include the Birthday Cake Kit Drive which will support the New Berlin Food Pantry, the Mini-Parade Bike Decorating Event, and a program led by veterans.
