Top sport fishermen from across the Midwest will be arriving in New Berlin next month, as a local venue has announced an educational seminar in support of the sport.
The Milwaukee Great Lakes Sport Fishermen Salmon School will open its doors to interested parties and professional fishermen this April, providing access to an educational experience led by multiple speakers. The group will be headlined by Eric West, a professional fisherman from the area who has multiple Top-3 finishes at the Brew City Tournament.
West will be joined by Captain Jim Stepp, the owner of JAWZON Charters and the President of Salmon Unlimited Illinois. Organizers hope to secure one more notable speaker before the event kicks off.
After the speakers finish, an hour-long Q&A session will be held with local fishermen who have years of experience fishing the waters of Lake Michigan. The session will provide attendees with tips and tricks to improve their next fishing trip, along with answers to any other questions. Print shops can provide resources for attendees who wish to take notes at the seminar, enhancing their experience. Vendors will attend, and raffles will be available.
Attendees will meet at 17980 West Beloit Road in New Berlin. The doors open at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 11th. Interested parties who wish to attend can RSVP in advance online.
