New Berlin ready for Christmas tree lighting

New Berlin officials will be hosting their annual Christmas tree lighting again in less than two weeks’ time.

This family-friendly event is meant to stir up holiday cheer and give New Berlin residents the chance to celebrate the holidays while spending time together.

This year’s event will contain a variety of activities in addition to the annual tree lighting. Officials note that attendees will be able to meet Santa, take pictures, and drop off letters for their kids. There will again be ice skating, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own skates if they have them.

Alternatively, attendees can rent skates from the New Berlin Public Library, where they can use their library cards to take out the skates. While there, attendees are encouraged to check out the library, view its Promotional Products, and see all the services available.

A concession stand will be available, with hot cocoa and other drinks on hand.

The event is happening on Saturday, December 2, running from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All festivities will occur during this time, but the actual tree lighting will be at 5:30 pm. The event is taking place at the New Berlin City Center, located at 15055 W National Avenue, in New. Attendees may have to pay for certain activities on the day but there is no fee to attend.
