The New Berlin Public Library will be partnering with the Waukesha County Public Health Department to host an event on how to improve one’s health.
Titled “Better Brain Health,” it will focus exclusively on how individuals can look after their mind, particularly as they age.
Officials from the Waukesha County Public Health Department have noted that age is a top risk factor for developing dementia, but are quick to caution that dementia is not an inevitable part of aging, and that steps can be taken to prevent the condition. This event will review the various approaches, activities, and tasks individuals can engage in to maintain brain health and ensure that they are staying healthy and functional for as long as possible.
While at the event, attendees will be encouraged to pick up Promotional Products for both the New Berlin Public Library and Waukesha County Public Health Department. Both offer extensive programs and information that can help people in the area boost their quality of life.
This event takes place on Friday, June 14, and runs from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The New Berlin Public Library is at 15015 Library Lane, and the event will be in the Heritage Room. The session is free to attend, and while registration is encouraged, it is not required. Coffee and tea will be served.
