New Berlin bakers to get cookie decorating tips

The Groves Bakery has announced a class for interested individuals on how to decorate sugar cookies at a near-professional level.

The event will give attendees a chance to enhance their baking skills and better understand how they can impress their guests with beautifully decorated cookies.

The event, which will be led by a professional baker from the Groves Bakery, will show attendees how to use templates and plan the best ways to decorate sugar cookies while using royal icing. All materials will be included, such as cookies, templates, and icing. Attendees will need to bring their own apron if they wish to wear one. Furthermore, individuals will be given the chance to buy an add-on. This means that they will be sent home with templates and a PowerPoint slide meant to help them bake at home.

According to the website, the course is intended for beginner-level bakers and is for adults only. Courses at this level make for ideal individual or Corporate Gifts.

The event itself will be held at the Muskego Circle Community Center, which is located just outside of New Berlin, Wisconsin. The address is S63W13694 West Janesville Road in Muskego. It will take place on Tuesday, August 15, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Tickets are $55 and advanced registration is required. Attendance is limited to 14 adults.
