Library makes time for slime

Next week, the New Berlin Public Library is holding a unique event designed to bring in “tween” customers, meaning middle-school aged kids somewhere between infancy and their teenage years.

The event, titled “Tween Fluffy Slime,” will allow these kids to attend and create their own slime. It comes as part of the library’s mission to provide high-quality, educational-related content to individuals located throughout New Berlin, Wisconsin.

The library is holding several events specifically for children in the 8 to 11 age group. For more information on upcoming events, individuals are encouraged to visit the library’s website, which has a dedicated calendar section. It is also common for libraries to use flyer printing to promote their upcoming events around the premises.

Attendees will be given the ingredients necessary to create their own slime, and will be able to take the slime home themselves. It will teach basic scientific principles and give individuals a chance to have some fun at the same time.

The event is being held next Thursday, June 29, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Registration is required, and the event is limited to the first 20 people who register. There is no cost for this event.

This is one of a series of events the New Berlin Public Library makes available to the community at large. To book their place, interested parties can call 262-754-1815 or email nbinfo@newberlinlibrary.org.
