August sees the Wisconsin State Fair take place, and New Berlin residents have been given some information to help them make the most of the day.
The gates will be equipped with metal detectors and Bags being carried are subject to being searched. Attendee may bring food into the fairgrounds, but glass bottles and cans are prohibited. Parents will be happy to know that strollers and wagons are permitted and they are even available for rent. Prices are $12 per single stroller, $17 for wagons and $25 for a wheelchair. For an electric scooter, the price prior to 4:00 pm is $60, while those rented after 4:00 pm are $40.
Fairs often utilize banner printing services to help direct attendee to various attractions.
Accessible restrooms can be found in the Expo Center, as well as a family restroom in the Expo Center’s north lobby. Accessible restrooms are also available in the Wisconsin Products Pavilion, at the Central Avenue and Second Street corner, and at the Corner of First Street and Grandstand Avenue.
A handy tool is the State Fair Food Finder, which can be found on the Fair’s website. It enables attendees to find out where on the grounds they can find their favorite foods.
This year’s state fair will be held August 4 to 14. Admission hours on Sunday through Wednesday will be 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, while Thursday, Friday and Saturday admission is 10:00 am to midnight. Rides commence operation at 11:00 am.
