The New Berlin Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau will soon host its annual Legislative Update, featuring speakers from local, state, and federal governments.
This panel discussion will allow all speakers a chance to provide updates on their current projects and hear concerns from the larger New Berlin business community.
So far, speakers from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have confirmed their attendance. Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow, State Senator Dale Kooyenga, and New Berlin Mayor David Ament have also said they will attend and speak at the event.
This event will be a special one for the local chamber, as Ed Holpfer, longtime Chair of the Chamber, will be retiring at the end of the month. As such, it will be his final time hosting a Chamber event before turning over the responsibility to Tina Conley.
As always, this event will feature not just speaking opportunities but networking opportunities as well. Organizers say attendees should come prepared to make new connections and that attendees should bring plenty of Business Cards to exchange.
The event itself will be held on Friday, February 10, from 7:30 to 9:30 am. It will be held at Marcus Theatres, which is located at 5200 S. Moreland Road in New Berlin. Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for non-members, and include a continental breakfast.
