Show to raise funds for Cudahy school
Laughs for Lincoln is set to provide an afternoon of comedy in support of Lincoln Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization.
The event will feature performances from experienced comedians with all proceeds going toward the construction of a new playground.
In this line-up, there will be two seasoned stand-up comics with long careers in the circuit. Mike Marvell, who's been performing for more than 25 years, will take the stage with his witty storytelling and observational humor. His comedic style is known for its relatable nature, often drawing on everyday experiences that resonate with audiences. He has had a good history working all over the country.
Also performing is J Tyler Menz, a Milwaukee-based comedian with more than a decade of experience. Menz is a regular performer at comedy clubs throughout the Midwest and has participated in several festivals, including The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, High Plains Comedy Festival, and the Flyover Comedy Festival. In 2022, he gained widespread recognition after one of his comedy clips amassed millions of views on social media. Flyer printing for events tends to feature the headliners.
Laughs for Lincoln event will take place at X-Ray Arcade on April 27th. Doors will open at noon sharp with performances starting at 12:30. Tickets are priced at $15, and can be bought online or at the door. The event is open to anyone eighteen or older.
