Cudahy families will be heading to Egg Day coming in early April.
Many of the spring festivities will be bunny-themed and will include a bunny parade. The Easter Bunny and zoo staff passing out small goodies and candy will be meandering around the zoo. The Bunny will stop at special locations throughout the zoo for picture opportunities.
Another activity will be an Egg Hunt Trail. The trail will be a self-guided tour around the penguins, big cats, otters, and elephant habitats where kids look for hidden markers, characters, displays and egg-themed Signs. Instructions will be available at the entrance.
The Egg Hunt Trail will be a companion piece to the animal enrichment sessions running throughout the day. The Animal Enrichment Sessions will have animals interacting with toys that are egg-shaped.
Photo opportunities at spring events such as this often produce pictures that go to local Print shops to be included in family spring newsletters.
A Spring Bingo Scavenger Hunt will likewise take participants around the grounds at their own pace only this will be played with bingo-style cards where guests will be looking for specific zoo or spring-themed items. Some of the items on the cards will be golden eggs, specific animals, event stations and spring-themed decorations.
Admission will be the usual zoo fee, and the Milwaukee County Zoo's Egg Day will take place at the main zoo, 10001 W Bluemound Road on April 4th from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
