Holiday folk event comes to Cudahy area
Cudahy area residents have a chance to learn about other cultures during a major international festival in mid-November.
The 2025 Holiday Folk Fair International is returning to West Allis for the 82nd year. Sponsored by the International Institute of Wisconsin, the three-day event is billed as America’s premiere multicultural festival, highlighting the cultural contributions of the varied peoples living in southeastern Wisconsin. The festival is a celebration of many forms of traditional music, dance, food, drinks, and crafts. Poster printing is often used for information and signage at festivals.
Specific attractions include the All Nations Theater (dance and music), the World Cafe’, the Coffee House, Chef’s Stage, and the International Bazaar.
The Holiday Folk Fair International will be held from November 21-23 at the State Fair Park Exposition Center. The Center’s address is 8200 West Greenfield Avenue in West Allis. The festival will be open from 2:00 to 9:00 PM on the 21st and will open at 10:00 AM the following two days. Advance tickets are $13 for those eight years and older and will be $16 at the gate. Children up to seven will be admitted free, as well as those with a military ID card. Parking is available at $10 per vehicle or $5 per motorcycle; motorists are encouraged to purchase parking in advance to save time. Attendees should note that credit cards are the only payment form allowed at the festival. Those interested in more information may call 414-225-6225.
