Runners head to Milwaukee for running event

The annual Cudahy Classic will welcome runners back to the lakefront, offering a morning of competition, community, and scenic views along Milwaukee’s shoreline.

Hosted by the Badgerland Striders, the event features three distances: a 10 mile, 5 mile, and 1 mile run. This makes it accessible to both seasoned athletes and recreational participants.

All races begin at Sheridan Park Picnic Area #1, guiding runners onto the Oak Leaf Trail. This route is known for its flat terrain and sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline. The 10 mile race will also serve as the RRCA State Championship for Wisconsin, with cash prizes and age group awards in the Open, 40+, 50+, and 60+ divisions. This year’s event will also include a celebration of Pete and Mary Wysocki’s 30th wedding anniversary, a familiar highlight for long time attendees. After crossing the finish line, participants will also have food.

Local vendors often rely on printing services to produce the signage, Brochures, T-Shirts and promotional materials that help them stand out at community events such as this one. Printed materials help increase visibility and enhance participants' experience.

The Cudahy Classic will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration ranges from $2.06 to $48.70, depending on race distance and category. The full address is Sheridan Park, Cudahy, 53110, WI. Registrations can be completed online on the Find a Race website.
