Interactive show to explore immigrant experiences

Making the Journey is an interactive program coming to Cudahy that offers a look at the immigrant experience.

The show will be hosted by the Cudahy Family Library, in collaboration with the Cudahy Historical Society and the Friends of Cudahy Library. This program is designed to provide attendees with insights into the challenges, stories, and cultural impacts of immigration. Through engaging presentations and activities, participants are given the opportunity to explore the diverse narratives that have shaped the fabric of communities and understand the personal and communal journeys of immigrants.

This event reflects the library's commitment to offering educational and cultural programming that enriches the community's understanding of diverse experiences and historical contexts. It offers a range of programs aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of social issues, promoting community engagement, and encouraging lifelong learning among residents of Cudahy and the surrounding areas. Stationery printers often supply printed materials to libraries.

Making the Journey is open to all ages, making it an inclusive opportunity for families, students, and individuals interested in learning more about the immigrant experience and its significance in shaping societies. By participating in such an event, community members can gain insight into the complexities of immigration, contribute to meaningful discussions, and connect with the historical and contemporary narratives.

Making the Journey is scheduled for February 27th at the Cudahy Family Library from 6:30 pm.
